Hi everyone! I am happy to report that I just survived the 24 hour ph test and the manometry test!!! I am sooo proud of myself! I almost cancelled it many times, but forced myself to just go through with it. I was really dreading having these tests done. I owe a lot of thanks to all the people on this board who are so supportive of each other. I really don't think I could have gone through with it if I didn't have you all to give me the encouragement that I needed!!! The manometry test was very painful for me, but I lived through it. I had to go 3 hours away and stay in a hotel, so I didn't have the comfort of my own home, but I made the best of it. I actually went to Denny's and risked being seen in public with a tube up my nose....yes people do stare....but I was sooo happy when she pulled the tube out the next day I started to cry. I won't have the test results for two weeks, but I am just so happy to be done with it! It wasn't incredibly horrible, but I don't think I would like to do it again! But thanks again for all the support!!
