Bile & Reflux

Is bile present in the stomach if the pylorus muscle is normal. I have read that bile reflux is usually only a problem when pylorus muscle has been damaged or there has been a stomach surgery.

Also, if you eat small, healthy meals is it possible to minimize reflux? After all isn't reflux caused by too much food in the stomach that has a tendency to backup into the esophagus?

thanks

Fred
