Dear Doc, I was eating a great amount of dairy every day for two years. I had pound of yogurt for lunch, milk with brekfast and dinner and cheese everyday. I finally connected some long term flatulence with dairy consumption. I have stopped the dairy and the flatulence stopped. Could long term ingestion of something you can't digest be a cause or contributing cause to GERD which I still suffer from? I've had GERD for the last 10 months. I notice it is worse if I have dairy but it hasn't left yet although I stopped eating dair two months ago. Is this a long term alergic reaction of some sort?
