Burning Chest, Throat, Stomach - Can't Stop It

For two months, I have had burning in my throat, chest, and stomach. When it gets really bad add a little nausea and fatigue. It happens even when I haven't eaten for 12-18 hours. I have tried the following treatments to relieve the symptoms without success: 1) Prilosec (3weeks, 20 mg and then 40 mg.), 2) Nystatin (1 week) and Diflucan (8 days, 100 mg.), 3)Protonic (1 week), and 4) Zantac (150 mg, 1 week 4/day, next week 6-8/day, and finally 10-12/day and it worked except I would wake up in the morning with the symptoms). Guess, I can't take that many Zantac per day, but it works. My EGD came out completely normal, except for a slight hiatial hernia (Dr. said it wouldn't produce symptoms).

I have been given another Rx for Aciphex 20 mg, 2 times per day, even though, the Dr. thinks it isn't heartburn, but perhaps a diabetic thing, which will go away on its own, come back in 3 weeks... (diabetes 31 of 34 years, great control, no complications) This condition is having a huge impact on the quality of my life.
