First, thanks for your time and this wonderful site.... 6 mo. ago, after pains in my chest as the only symptom I was put on Zantac to treat it as GERD or ulcer. (cardio work up great and GI negative for reflux) Since then, with getting rid of sodas completely *sob*, and doing all of the changes, I'm doing better. But now, I'm burping after everything I swallow. I was put on Prilosec and no change there. So, now off all meds and still the same. Question - since no actual diagnosis was made and I seem, so far, to be doing better, should I not worry about doing Endo & PH testing? Or should frequent burping "air" not be taken lightly even if I've made improvements elsewhere? Thanks for your time.
