Re: gastritis

Gastritis is not usually associated with chest and pain radiating into the arm. A little inflammation in the stomach does not explain this kind of pain even if pills were taken and seem to be associated with an improvement in symptoms. A chronic recurrent condition which goes on for several months deserves to be fully evaluated with special testing rather than treating symptoms. One resting EKG can also be inaccurate in evaluating the heart. Stopping smoking can be beneficial to both the heart and the stomach.
