Burning in chest, stomach and knot

I had an upper GI and barium enema a couple of weeks ago due to gas pains, rumbling in stomach, and nausea. Enema showed minor diverticuli-nothing on upper GI. Felt better at follow-up, so Dr. said watch diet. A week later, now have burning in lower stomach, around waist and a feeling of a know between breasts, but lower. Burning finally goes all the way up to chest. Stomach rumbles constantly!! Am afraid to eat anything, but still the same symptoms if I don't. Rolaids help for a little while. Going to call my dr. back tomorrow, but does anyone have any ideas?
