For the last 4 months if I speak for more than a minute or two, I get a severe burning in my throat. The longer I speak the longer the pain lasts and if I speak for 15 minutes it burns for a day or two. I am being treated with 40 mg protonix, (1.5 yrs ago had reflux causing difficult breathing that responded to Prilosic). Ent scoped 2x sees nothing but a little red. Allergest gave me allegra. Use a msg board and pen to communcate for last week-not speaking. I am now experiencing deep depression and anxiety and have started to take paxil.(have chronic back pain too) Please help me. Should I just continue to be quiet? Going nuts. Thank you>
