3 weeks ago, I was placed on Prednisone due to Asthma attack. After completing the Prednisone I developed a metalic taste, with burning/numbness in my throat & tongue. I have had this problem for the last 2 weeks. Also, I have had problems w/GERD, and have used all the meds: Prevacid w/out help. I have also used Tagamet, Zantac, and Pepcid? The GERD seems to be under control, but the burning/numbness of the back of my tongue is still present. Please help????
