Never had a bile reflux problem, until after my GERD surgery. The surgery corrected esophageal reflux and was supposed to correct hiatal hernia. Post surgery I have pain after eating...due to hiatal hernia pushing into my stomach and gas due to bile reflux problem. Did my surgeon screw up? Are these problems correctable with surgery? I had the nissen fundoplication in April 2000 and am still gassy? Shouldn't this be over with? My hernia hurts and the pain hurts my left shoulder at night, even on an empty stomach and I wondered if the Nissen procedure failed. I did not have these problems before the surgery. I am pissed with my doctor. I only get gassy when I eat; have pain with or without food. Can I have it corrected? Elizabeth
