Dr. Cirangle...thanks for your reply. However, after complaining 3 times to the surgeon, he ordered an endoscopy. The findings were hiatal hernia (a lump in my stomach) and bile reflux (does this cause gas?). The hernia was something he, the surgeon, was supposed to have corrected and the bile reflux is new since the surgery. Elizabeth
