I would recommend that you take your son to see a surgeon who specializes in laparoscopic surgery especially of the stomach or foregut. I am sure the University of Wisconsin in Madison or at the Medical College of Wisconsin you could find such a specialist. Another place you can look is on the SAGES website (www.SAGES.org) where you will find a complete listing of surgeons who may be able to help your son.
