I am two and one half years post Nissen proceedure with teriffic results. Total cure as far as I am concerned. Only side effect was inability to burp. Recently I have been able to burp on occasion. Not a single, loud burp, but a series of small belches. But enough so that I am noticing less farts. Felt I had a slight episode of reflux about two months ago. Nothing since. Was taking asthma medicine for an attack at the time that said it would cause heartburn. Other than that, my results have been total relief. Should I be concerned that the wrap is loosening? Or should I be happy that the only minor side effect is going away?
