I went in for an Endoscopy last spring and was very nervous. The doctor said if I didn't want to have it done, to tell him because he had other things he could be doing. This added to my anxiety. After they gave me the Versed I remember getting sleepy and rolling over on my side. When I woke up in the recovery room the nurse told me I didn't cooperate and they couldn't do it. My blood pressure and heart rate went way up, so they stopped after 4 tries and I don't remember a thing. I know I need to have this procedure done, but now I'm even more scared.
