GERD/Barrett's

Just thought I'd let people know, I was originally diagnosed with GERD back in February and when I had my first endoscopy, I was told I had Barrett's Esophagus. I began to take 80mg. day of Prilosec, then after a while went down to 60mg. I have taken this ever since, and gone on Weight Watchers so am eating lowfat, high fiber diet. I also drink one cup of strong coffee a day. I went back for another endoscopy last week because new Dr. said I was no longer inflamed like before. He told me today that there is no evidence of Barrett's, and he did many biopsies. I will ask to see the pathology report, because Barrett's is not supposed to be reversible, but I'm feeling happy anyway.
