Hi Iris -
I had the Nissen Fundoplication surgery to stop the reflux -- after they performed an endoscopy, 24 ph probe test and manometry test to see what was going on and all came back reflux.
I have tried vocal rest,doesn't really work for me, and frankly have been rather reclusive as my voice has hurt for four years now -- it is somewhat better after the surgery, but a long way from perfect.
If you read some of the old messages on this board with my name on it, you will read a little bit of what I have been going through, but also feel free to contact me at Gbenandsharon@aol.com to further exchange thoughts on this - suffice to say, I have explored many avenues and am still suffering -- are you a singer, also?
