I had my results back from my pH study. My acid levels varied throughout the test. However one thing that did show was that I have very poor muscle contraction in my esphogus which my Gastro Doc said could be causing a lot of my problems especailly neasua. On 17 January I'm having a barium swallow to look at the lower bowl and my stomach to see if there is anything else going on. I still suffer with terrible stomach cramps, neasua and constant belching. My appitie is very poor. My weight is becoming worrying too, I'm under 7 1/2 stone now which isn't right. My GP has changed my tablets from Losec to Nexium which is helping the indigestion. What can they do for poor muscle contraction? My Gastro Doc said do all the tests before making any decisions. Just to rule out any other problems. I've had this now for nearly 3 years and it doese scare me. I just want it sorted out.
