So sorry you are having such a bad time of it. This might be a bit of a rebound effect. You've been suprressing the acid so now its making more. The one thing I would suggest is that you make sure to eat good healthy food, if you have to juice it, blend it, Your body still needs the nutriants. I too have lost a lot of weight. But I keep giving my body all the nutriants it needs. In my case I had a CDSA test and found that I had candida. Then I had a test for heavy metals and found I have very high mercury in my body. A year ago, I would never have thought I'd have that. Doctors were just treating the GERD. As I have posted so many times before, they must find out WHY you have GERD symptoms. I'm getting all the malgum fillings out of my mouth. I'm on a detox program, I'm being treated for candida. Surprisingly my burning throat symptom is gone. I still have a burning in my lower back after I eat and have nausea in the morning after I eat. The GI doctor says my small intestine is inflammed. After I have all my fillings out, which will be some time in February, I will have another CDSA test to see what's going on with the gut. Hopefully there will be an improvement. So much of these symptoms can be caused by food allergies, imbalances in the gut, parasties, candida. Keep searching Jenny. Don't give up. Drink aloe vera juice, take DGL, eat lots of homemade soups, take your vitamins, and keep educating yourself. TAke care. Have a Merry Christmas! Ginny
