aloe is a plant and cannot be approved by the fda. the fda are assholes. they push drugs that kill,and condem herbs. anyway. you can get other dgl. just shop around. i did the phone consult in the book,and sherry ripped me for 125 dollars. try mastica gum,it works also. aloe has one bad effect,if yor sensetive,you might get diarhea.the book is good,but be careful about self diagnosing. i got caught up in the yeast thing,changed my diet,and lost alot of weight,and gerd got worse
