how many hours per day can you feel the lump ,if you concentrate on it ?
It varies from day to day but when I feel it, I usually take corrective action (i.e. stop eating) and it goes away after about 3-4 hours.
does it improve after eating or drinking or prevacid ?
Drinking water seems to help a bit. Eating makes everything feel better while I am eating but about 1 hour later I pay for it. For me, Prevacid does not seem to provide immediate relief. It's more of a maintenance therapy.
does "difficulty swallowing" mean , that it hurts in throat at the moment you swallow ? (or is the further passage through esophagus difficult)
For me, this is minor. What I mean is that my saliva doesn't go down very well. But if I drink a glass of water, I can swallow that fine.
