My gastro doc also recommended a stress test for me as well at my last visit. I've been on Aciphex for a month now, up to 40 MG daily for the past week. Still, I'm having stomach gurgling (noisily!) and burning, along with the lump in the chest and burning (moving all over the chest, from side to side). I guess he recommended the stress test after I told him the heartburn gets worse after exertion, and bending over. But it seems obvious to me, that due to the jostling and bending, the acid is moving freely into the esophagus. In any event, this is not addressing the stomach upset. Also, he was not yet familiar about the Stretta and Bard procedures, so I let him know what I heard.
