Hi,
Well, I'm proud to say that I did much better this follow up endoscopy than the first time.:-)BP to start off with was 136/76 which isn't bad as I was nervous but no panic. Over all believe they're good results. My ulcer is gone, esophagitis is much better. It's nice to see a little pink on the photo of my esophagus, my Gastro gave me for my records. That's the good news. Still have of course the Barrett's Esophagus with no change in it, the two Diverticulum, Hiatal Hernia and one more condition has been added.:-( Gastritis~Erythema in two spots in same location in the stomach.
My Gastro made sure I felt very little and answered all questions posed to him and then advised didn't need to have another endoscopy for two years from now.:-0 That is unless something comes up so to speak. I'm still on Aciphex ine the morning and Reglan before dinner and then again before bedtime. Only concern my Gastro has is why I didn't have the Gastritits~Erytema before and now I do. From the research I've done it's possible the Prevacid or Propulsid may have aggrivated my stomach. sure was sick when I was on those meds. He didn't biopsy it as didn't want to further inflame my stomach as it's no longer unsettled with present meds.:-) Best I've felt in a while.
