The Prevacid did indeed appear to give me a case of Gastritis. My doctor tended to agree, and lowered the dosage, but that didn't work, so now that I have my acid reflux under control, I have switched to Zantac, which is a far less severe acid suppressor. I am praying that the Zantac will help with the Gastritis, but am concerned because I've had it for a couple of months now. Did your doctor suggest any other medications specifically aimed at curing the Gastritis?
