Michael. The prevacid had a terrible effect on my stomach. I thought I was getting worse from my original condition of Gerd until I realized it was the prevacid giving me terrible stomach pain. I stopped completely and after a few days I was fine. I took nothing after that--just followed religiously what I was supposed to eat and eventually got much better. If your doctor isn't telling you Pravicid causes stomach pain, he shoudl be put out of business.
