According to my two sources ( Wolfe & Utley) the following meds may worsen reflux: asthma meds, antihypertensive meds, sedatives & antidepressants, narcotics, progesterone, weak blockers of acid production. Of course, we all know about caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol which they list. Your pharmacist should be able to tell you about your particular drugs.

It might be harmful particularly with high blood pressure drugs to stop taking them suddenly. Checking with your doctor is best.

You have been through a lot with failed surgery etc. My heart goes out to you. I hope you find some resolution.
