I'm wondering why people still get heartburn when they are taking ppi's.I take 20mgs.of prilosec a day and don't have any problems with any food.I've been diagnosed with a moderate hiatal hernia and gerd.my gastro.dr.said prilosec reduces the production of acid by about 97 percent.how come people still have problems.I'm also hoping the stretta and the suturing procedure works so i can get off the medicine.thanks from a fellow gerd sufferer.
