Is this a big problem?

I am Male, 51 yrs old. I have bouts with Acid Reflux. My doctor gave me some Prilosec, about 2 yrs ago, and I took it for awhile but quit after about 2 months. I have noticed that I haven't had Acid Reflux for some time now unless I eat a big or spicy meal before bedtime. I also have some syptoms of Sleep Apnea (excessive snoring, waking up a lot, tired during the day, etc.) I have awaken on several occasions after dreaming that I am dying and I wake up trying to get my breath. That seems to be a similar problem with these two diseases. Also lately, when I eat, I sometimes cough and then sneeze. You might also like to know that I am now coming off of PAXIL 20 ml (last 6 months) that I have been taking for an emotional dilemna that now seems to be corrected.

Can you shed any light on if I am battling two differnt things or are they all connected to Acid Reflux?

Thanks, Dennis M
