I have recently went through 2 test and been put on prevacid to see why I am having a burning sensation in my chest (breastbone)Prevacid didn't really help. The tests were upper GI and an abdominal US. No problems were found , but why would I still have this feeling in my chest..it's like all the time mostly worse in the mornings and maybe sometime after I eat..could they of missed something on my tests? If it were the les valve wouldn't the upper GI detect a problem? also if this valve is minor inflammed can medicine heal this like it would heal an ulcer?
Thank you.
