I was recently told by my GP that I had asthma but this felt painful in my throat area so I saw a pulmonary Dr. and took breathing tests and a chest xray. I was told my breathing is fine. I went to a new internist who confirmed this as well. He heard a wheezing but said it was from my throat and sent me to an ears nose and throat dr. He looked inside my throat and saw inflammation and felt this was from acid. I am on prolosac and he wants me in in a week. It kind of works but still have heartburn and difficulty swallowing if not real slow both food and liquid(less so). What concerns me most is the pain in lower throat and wheezing like a blockage-Is this strange-When I am active this condition is more pronounced. Is this related to the windpipe? Any words will be helpful although I know you can't assure me of anything. Is a cat scan useful?
