Your GI symptoms don't sound related to your hypothyroidism. To sum them up, you have excessive belching/gas, and right sided abdominal pressure near your ribs. Sounds like another suspect for gallstones. I would certainly at least consider this possibility. Ulcer disease is also a possibility. None of it sounds very much like GERD. Hope this helps.
