i ave never had one bout of heartburn in my life. this year,i had trouble breathing,and i went to a bunch of doctors. i have a deviatd septum,and some allergies. my nose is always stuffed. well,i went to a gastro,who did a scope,and it came back had a gastric ulcer,and barretts and reflux.with asmall hiatal.wll,i freaked. i went on prevacid,and after stopping it a week later,i had heartburn. now my esophogus was so infalmed,i get heartburn all day. istarted taking some herbs,no more meds. well,within 2 months,i healed the ulcer naturally. but i kept having a weird reflux,like a dripping feelig crawling up my chest. then i got costrocondritis. now i started to take meds,because the reflux is all day. i cant jump up and down without feeling water in my chest. my second scope showed no barretts. does this ake sense? it said oxy something tissue with distall esophogitis. i had major spasms of the esphogus when my allergies were hitting,which i believed caused gerd. now the distall area is inflamed,if dont take meds,it gets worse and worse.if i do take meds,the second i stop,it cmes back twice as bad. i think the ppis caused all my problems. can any test tell if yor post nasal is causing hoarseness,or gerd? also,can ppis be stoped wihout bad rebound? and can stoache malfunction cause gerd? i get constipated and bloated.can the distal area be healed without ppis
