fundic gland polyps

I was on Prilosec, now have been on Prevacid 30mg twice a day for several years. On endoscopy I have fundic gland polyps, which have grown since the first endoscopy. Are these dangerous, and how long can I remain on the Prevacid? I can't seem to do without it. Do the polyps prevent my stomach from functioning normally?
