HI, DOCTOR.I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH GERD BY 24HOUR PH TEST IN NOV.1999.I HAD SURGERY(LAP.NISSEN)IN JUNE 2000.I GOT SICK 2 DAYS AFTER SURGERY WITH ABDOMINAL CRAMPS AND 15 TO 20 BOWEL MOVEMENTS A DAY.IN SEPT.2000 WAS TOLD AFTER COLONSCOPE I HAD ANTIBOTIC INDUCED COLITIS.NOW MY COLITIS SEEMS TO BE UNDER CONTROL AND I AM HAVING BAD REFLUX SYMPTOMS AGAIN.CAN ONE DISEASE CAUSE THE OTHER.WHEN MY COLITIS WAS ACTING UP AND MY SYSTEM WAS EMPTYING OUT SO MUCH I HAD NO REFLUX SYMPTOMS.NOW MY SYSTEM IS NORMAL ITS LIKE IT BACKS UP AND CAUSES REFLUX.IS THIS POSSIBLE ?
