Post nasal drips to not cause reflux disease. Proton pump inhibitors did not make the problem worse. Barrett's esophagus does not regress unless it is treated by experimental procedures which burn it away. It is important to continue your treatment for your reflux disease. I would encourage you to continue your treatments and follow your doctor's orders. Repeat endoscopy is important to determine if you have Barrett's the esophagus or not. Furthermore, you should consider a 24 hr pH study and esophageal manometry.
