You're symptoms sound mostly like gall bladder pains. It is possible to have these symptoms from a dysfunctional gall bladder or from unrecognized gallstones. It can be detected with a CCK stimulated HIDA scan. Most surgeons will not feel comfortable with the concept of a dysfunctional gall bladder. In my practice, the vast majority of patients with symptoms such as yours and abnormal gall bladder contractions get better with laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
