From: pain under left rib - GERD??

I have been diagnosed with mild reflux. Have no gallbladder. Have had ct liver scan (twice), upper GI series, endoscopy (with stomach polyps removed). Tons of blood work all normal. Have lost 27 pounds but now stabilized. Cannot tolerate fatty, fried, chocolate, sweets, spicy, etc., foods. Have mild sore throat and burning. Dr. tried ppi's but could not tolerate any of them due to severe muscle cramps and pain. He finally said let's take everything away and see what happens. Am still having pain right under ribs which goes across chest from side to side. He's admitted he's stumped as all tests are normal. Eating does alleviate it somewhat but after about 1 or 2 hours it comes back. Sitting of course aggravates it. Does anyone have any ideas of what may be causing this. I've been in ER several times the last couple of months, had thalmic stress, heart monitors, etc. and all normal. Thryoid and arthritis scans and blood work normal. Even had MRI to test for MS, all normal. I'm spending a fortunre and everything is always normal. Could this just be stress. I admit to very high stress level at work, suffer from fibromyalgia and depression. Could these other factors be causingh this? I certainly would appreciate any and all comments.
