Sometimes, the cause of a discomfort cannot be diagnosed. Your workup has been complete with the exception of a 24 hr pH study and esophageal motility. The fact that the pain gets better when eating suggest either peptic ulcer disease or reflux disease. Endoscopy has been done so the reflux tests remain. If they are positive and your pain correlates with the episodes of reflux, then a laparoscopic fundoplication should solve your problem.
