Difficulty taking a deep breath

Over the last month I have noticed that when I lay down, it is difficult to take a deep breath.I have also had pain between my shoulder blades almost every day for the last month as well. About two weeks ago, I noticed a "popping sensation" whenever I turn over in bed. I pressed on my upper abdomen (near my ziphoid process) and noticed the same popping sensation, as if there is a bubble or something. I am a 36y/o male with history of acid reflux problems.
