Had lap Nissen a year ago. 2 months later heartburn returned along with pre op symptoms of delayed emptying etc. Recent studies (24ph, manometery, esophogoscopy, video-esophograms) indicate the wrap has entered the chest and a paraesophageal hernia is present Consultating surgeon suggests transthorasic revision. I was hoping for sompthing less invasive (Laproscopic approach) any thoughts. also ph monotoring and other tests all indicat retur of reflux.
