Exercise & GERD

I've been battling GERD since last June. Prior to bouts of chest pain and a balloon-like feeling under my left rib and stomach I was working out like mad. The onslaught of symptoms and confused physicians unable to make an accurate diagnosis caused me to cease exercising.

I've recently made the acquaintance of an excellent doctor and I am on the road to recovery as I have adopted a natural diet and have relaxed fromt he worry of my symptoms. As such, I've hit the weight room this week since last June. After workouts I feel "full" in the stomach and up into the chest. Not burning, but a mild pressure.

Is this common among GERD patients and is there a way to cease it?

(I'm on Prevacid and Elavil, heart has been checked, ER visits, Endoscopy, etc...It's GERD.)
