Hope you're having a good day today. Sorry I took so long to get back here. I talked to my pharmacy, and they said you could get your dr. to call them to get the scoop on the ENT gargle. Or maybe your pharmacist can, since its only a mouthwash. Let me know, and I'll give you their phone number.
I'm going to give the ginger root juice a try, too. I don't know if you've ever tried it, but some people do have some luck with it.
I haven't noticed any cracks or anything on my tongue -- just the burning. One thing I've noticed, tho, is that if I use too much Mylanta, I get sort of a thrush thing going. Thrush, too, can cause burning in your mouth and throat.
