Hello. Beegs, my heart really goes out to you. I have both sinus problems with aweful postnasal drip and this GERD stuff apparently. The doctor said that the skin separating the esophogus from the vocal chords is clearly acid washed, not to mention the chords themselves. These symptoms can make me feel a clausterphobia in my own body, likd I just want to get out. Anyway, I am one of those people who never experiences heartburn. The symptoms for me are the semi-constant throat clearing, the periodic burning in my throat, and the bad taste in my mouth. Laryngeal reflux is the specides of GERD people with these symptoms have. I haven't had all the endoscopy/ph tests yet. As I've read this board over the past three months, I have not discerned any real healing solutions. I have not even heard a consistent joy re the results of any of these surgeries. I am taking prilosec(20 2*) which I'm not sure is really working. It is a fearful thing to think about the long term effects of this stuff. Without question, my hope is in the Lord into whose hands I am learning to surrender my health. There are lessons I'm learning in this pain and fear though. I hurt with the rest of you and thank you for your presence and sharing here. God Bless, Rik
