after i eat sometimes my throat seems to start closing up on me. i have difficulty in swallowing and have to massage it to keep it open. is this part of gerd. i'm on protonix once a day but it doesn't seem to be helping. should i take maalox or something for this. i just had endoscopy and it was normal but for mild reflux, no other symptoms except pain in stomach and under ribs.
