In April 1999, i was treated in emergency room for blocked intestine. My stomach was pumped and several xrays, tests performed. After release I had added tests, Upper/Lower GI, scans, consults with gastroenterologist, surgeon etc. arranged by primary physician. There was never a final diagnosis, altho a suggestion it might be caused by adhesions from prior surgeries. I am now having same symptoms, chest pain, lower back pain, hardness of stomach, lots of pain, but not a total blockage, yet. I have had EKG, 2 stomach xrays, lung xray, lower back xray, Cat-scan, Doppler scan of legs, Ultrasound of liver & kidneys, at Dr. office and during 3 day hospitalization all in past 3 weeks. None of the Drs can find the cause or suggest treatment. Am taking Pepcid AC in effort to relieve gas & on liquid diet, not helping. I am at wit's end. Any suggestions? Please Help!
