heartburn

I am 26. I've been having constant(every minute of every day) severe heartburn for 2 years. I take Prilosec which helpes a little, but does not eliminate heartburn completely. I eat plain foods; it does not help. I had endoscopy which showed that I have moderately severe esophagitis and a small hiatal hernia. Also I had 24-hour PH Study and Motility test done twice by different facilities. PH Study turned up negative. The Motility test showed that I have ineffective esophagus (low amplitude, uncoordinated contractions). The doctors don't know why I experience heartburn if I have no acid in esophagus according to the PH Study test. Propulsid gave me some relief although not complete. Reglan was prescribed but it gives me depression. Why do I have heartburn if there is no acid was found in esophagus? What could be the reason? Can I be helped? I am desparate because it interferes with my life. I feel like nobody has answers, and nobody can help me. Thank you.
