Gdavey, I too get intense pain between my should blades and, sometimes, in my chest area. This is particularly true when I walk or exercise. I have GERD, (was diagnosed) but I am not exactly sure what causes this type of pain. Just thought I would share this with you so you know you are not alone. I have seen other GERDERS post that they experience pain between the should blades. It is not uncommon. Be well.
