The pH test is clearly indicated to ascertain whether your reflux has recurred. Some people get some improvement in their spasm with the usage of drugs like sublingual nitroglycerin ( a smooth muscle relaxant). The heart racing symptom when you are on your left side is new to me and I cannot relate that to reflux. That probably should be pursued further diagnostically by your doctor. Alan White
