I think I read on here one time that GERD can also cause sinusitis and also asthma. Is that true? I am always getting a sore throat and drainage down my throat. And when my throat gets very irritated I do spit up some blood, not a lot but enough to cause my mucous to be red. And when I wake up when I have these symptoms I spit out old blood (brown) in the mornings. Is this GERD related?
