All of us are different. Some people make more acids than others, etc. Therefore, there are a variety of dosages and medication regimens. When I see a patient referred to me who is not doing well on meds, I will get a 24 hour pH test with them on their meds to see if they are inadequately suppressed and will adjust the meds accordingly.
