I read some where that if you do not respond to PPIs you are probably not going to respon to a Nissen. I have trouble believing this because PPIs reduce acid production an surgery fixes the cause, a faulty LES. What is your take on this. Also, I am becoming very discouraged reading about all the failed Nissens. Is there a place to read a bunch of positive outcomes? Why do they fail anyway? Thank you for your time.
